Ashton Mining of Canada Inc - Kaiser says hold on for possible $20 home run

Also Pure Gold Minerals Inc (PUG)
John Kaiser, writing in the November 20, 1997 Kaiser Bottom-Fish
Tracker, says Ashton Mining is a hold at $5.40. Ashton was on Mr
Kaiser's list of 100 recommendations for 1997 in the Kaiser
Bottom-Fishing Report of December 23, 1996. At that time, the stock
was $0.96. Mr Kaiser says Ashton has emerged as the top performer of
his 1997 list and the one he says has the best probability of turning into a
$20 home run. The stockpicker's favourite emerged from obscurity in
January when it announced it had hit kimberlite in the Buffalo Head
craton in northern Alberta. Its partners in the program are Alberta Energy
and Pure Gold Minerals and, arguably, Mr Kaiser himself, who must
receive partial credit as analyst/press agent for the entire Alberta
diamond play. Mr Kaiser says the dream is that somewhere in the region
is a world-class diamond resource to rival southern Africa. "The hunt has
only just begun," he says.
