I have always been more interested in tactics and horse races than the "How should we fix the world?" discussion here, so election season puts me more into my element. Though this race has become stale and tiresome, and the mega-explosion of TV ads has just become bizarre. If I were a grad student in psychology or communications, I would be doing a great thesis to see where ad saturation simply becomes useless, and all these new billions in the political process may not actually matter much.

The DC area channels have already had the same ads run hundreds of times with what, 10 weeks to go before we vote? Numbness is setting in very quickly.
