What about us shorts. Will we not have to cover?
I remember once a company went bankrupt and the stock was trading for about a penny. When it was announced it was going to be declared worthless and all trading would be halted. On that last day of trading it rallied to $5.00 because every firm claimed every short had to cover their entire short positions before the close of that day There may even had been more short positions than there was avaiable stocks..
