The good news is that if the current quarter is truly the bottom of the down cycle, buying now will be rewarded at some point over the next year or more. That is not to imply there can't be another down draft in the stock price, as we don't know how bad the current quarter will be and if this is truly the bottom of the cycle as AMAT is predicting.
