i share your sentiment. There was no need for this financing, except to satisfy vanity and the ability to SPEND. I remember the CV Deb of AEM. The stock showed its true worth only after maturity of the CV and its conversion. I might trade the stock into G. I have neither the time nor the patience to hold.
