Tavros: When I doubted Nextel, the stock shot up to 32. Who knows?

About 300-400 posts back, when I joined SI, I had already bought 2000 sh. of Nextel. Then, I started reading the financials and discovered that, to an accountant, the company does not look good. To someone educated about the communication industry, the company looks terrific. This company will revolutionize the whole concept of wireless communication, right?

I spoke my concers about the financials, the rapid growth, the expansion into Brazil. I was stomped on, kicked, reprimanded, threatened, and called a fool. Useing hindsight, I was wrong. The bad looking financials don't mean anything, the static or system busy signals don't mean anything, none of these things influence this market. Emotion influences the market. Right now the public is not bullish and only the highly touted stocks are getting attention.
Japan markets don't look good, Asia is in trouble, Sadam is playing games with the UN inspectors, Hong Kong is irrational, this is what is affecting our favorite company. It is also affecting almost all of the companies on the Nasdaq.

Regards again:

affected Al Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
