In the last two years, during the recession, metro Atlanta added approximately 72,000 people. During the decade of the 2000s, it routinely added nearly 100,000 each year.

Its this observation that caught my eye. Atlanta's growth has slowed significantly. It reminds me of LA. Quiet suddenly LA's growth just stopped and never resumed. Having said that, I think Atlanta will be different but who knows.

BTW I was reading an article about Miami............was very surprised to see a photo of downtown.........had no idea it had grown so much. Is the downtown active........people walking around. And does Miami have a subway now?
