Great work Don. Whenever I look at next year's earnings estimate the big question to me regardless of whether you are talking about an individual stock, a group of stocks, or and index is how easy will expectations be to beat? Lower estimates are easier to beat. That is why the market, or individual stocks, often bottom(s) when things look bad. There has been a lot of improvement in the market lately as you have noted. Small caps look better although despite recent performance they certainly lag larger caps in terms of how many stocks are hitting new highs. I will be watching the S&P 500 this week to see if it can take out resistance at 1422 or are we going to get a double top if it fails? RtS
