Kenneth, jialien, appears, as a member of your profession, not to know that there has to be a deadline to get a settlement for ones client, in this case the two Wars in Iraq and Afgan.

Caigal, in his post, "Republicans have a twofold answer. First, hammer home that their plan affects no one over 55, let alone 65," appears not to recognize that if you have a pool of cash with more expenditures than revenues to replenish the expenditure that the pool will run dry.

Giving those younger than 54 the option not to place revenues to pool full (Social Security, and/or Medicare) it will run dry. Additionally, how many individuals truly know the art of investing their Social Security or Medicare contributions? What happens if their investments run dry? Do we put them out on the street? I do not believe our society would accept putting individuals on the street.

What would those on this site do if Ryan's plans were adopted! It is easy to criticize others, but more difficult to problem-solve and look at the consequences of our actions.
