It's been interesting to watch politicians from both parties court medical marijuana political donations.

I've watch as large thick envelopes are handed to them .. marijuana tends to be a cash business.

Mostly republican candidates FWIW ..

That's one thing in our favor .. we got cash.

Get 100 of us together and let one of them talk .. then pass the hat. We're told that we are only allowed to put $20 in without a paper trail. Every single person tosses in $20.

Then there's the fund raising dinners etc .. $250 plate affairs, sponsored by dispensaries and activist groups. And they sell out. The places get packed.

Our community is spending millions. And it's not "Soros money."
