I expect we'll have some huge wars over dwindling resources, with those big enough to fight them. We might even have to seize Canada to get back all the Chinese-purchased resources there! Nothing to shrink that global population like thermonuclear war. We've come so far since Hiroshima - it'll be distinguished just by being the first use. That bomb will look like a firecracker.
