Yeah, if you worked for Government Motors and the union. And God forbid anyone should keep more of their own money when the government thinks it has a better use for it.

And that's the only difference between 2002 and 2012. Riiight.

Once the Dems controlled the Presidency and both Houses of Congress, there was no interest in bipartisanship. None. (Although since Obama's primary interest was in Obamacare, which he let Pelosi and Reid write, I wouldn't have wanted any Republican to sign onto it anyway, especially the final product.)
