If they were micromanaging your life, you'd have a bathroom schedule you'd have to follow, as well as a curfew and "lights out", and patient compliance on meds would be 100% instead of "poor". If they weren't managing it all, you would have a car crash the first time you tried to drive thru a busy intersection, and patient compliance would still be "poor". We're somewhere in between. " Real patriots equate patriotism with being there despite disagreeing with what the government is doing. Paying taxes for Nam while protesting the war; paying taxes for Iraq while protesting the war, etc. There has been no greater act of post Civil War dispatriotism , and no greater attack on the institution of democracy itself, than a gang of disgruntled losers getting together the night of the inauguration and saying "We will send this country to hell before we'll let Obama have a second term".
