You seem to be ignoring this direct quote:

"Obama to GOP: 'I won'

By JONATHAN MARTIN & CAROL E. LEE | 1/23/09 1:25 PM EDT

President Obama listened to Republican gripes about his stimulus package during a meeting with congressional leaders Friday morning - but he also left no doubt about who's in charge of these negotiations. "I won," Obama noted matter-of-factly, according to sources familiar with the conversation.

You also choose to ignore the general opposition to much of what Obama and the Congressional Democrats have done, in particular Obamacare. If anyone is denying Obama a second term, it's Obama, not your "gang of disgruntled losers."

And as for micromanagement of life, we are headed for the equivalent of your bathroom schedule. For example, the mandated lightbulbs, new lunch rules requiring kids to take a fruit and veggie (how much waste will that result in?), Bloomberg's nannying of NYC (breastfeeding, salt, size of drinks).... There's less and less flexibility or common sense. When the government "pays" for everything, it gets to tell you what to do.
