Performing at the Iowa State Fair, the country singer said, "We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the US and we hate him!” According to the Des Moines Register, after he played the song “We Don’t Apologize For America,” a chant of “USA, USA” broke out amongst the crowd of roughly 8,500. This led Williams to make his comments about Obama which apparently were greated with loud cheers.
