Maybe. My impression is that corporate profits tend to be a 1%er thing, for the most part, but I could be wrong. Wealth in the US is a lot more concentrated than income, though.

China will buy from the US what it makes sense for them to buy. Fast food and Starbucks in China will generate a few (high paying though) management jobs in the US, but not anything on the scale that's needed here. As to Caterpillar, which I looked up because it's the first non-fast-food-beverage thing you listed, plus you listed it twice, the first non-corporate link my friend Google came up with was this: forbes.com May you live in interesting times, as the ancient Chinese curse goes.
