It is important to understand that these Son of BOSS shelters are, like other tax shelters, not illegal until a court somewhere decides they are. They are extremely aggressive....which is the adjective I used to describe romney's personal tax shelter practices. He seems to have learned it on the road. AND, I can't imagine that, as the chairman of the board's audit committee, a tax consulting firm comes to the company and sells this contorted tax treatment scheme to save the company 70M in taxes and the accounting department doesn't pass that by the BOD? He had to have known about it... Realistically, had he entered into such transactions there would have been evidence of it in his 2010 return even if it had happened several years before. How the hell does a tax scheme used at marriott 10 years earlier show up in romney's personal tax returns 10 years later? Please.... Al
