It is with great sadness that the family of John Stenkowsyi announces his passing on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the Welland Hospital at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family.
John leaves behind Mary, his beloved wife of 65 years. Dear father of Raisa Culliford and husband Keith and Valentina Robbins and husband Colin.
Cherished grandfather of Christopher Sawatsky (Renee), Natasha Sawatsky, Kristin Robbins and Lara Robbins.
Predeceased by his father Ivan and his mother Katerina.
Arrangements out of Fonthill. The Funeral Mass will take place at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. George, 8 Augusta Avenue, St. Catharines on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:00am. Rite of Committal will follow at Fonthill Cemetery.
