<<<<< I remembered that one of the items which troubled you the most about Obama's stimulus package was the lack of infrastructure work>>>>

It wasn't the lack of infrastructure so much as a dislike of the other stuff. I do know there was infrastructure but I would have dumped the entire dollar amount there. What concerns me yet about Obama's infrastructure spending is what I'll call lack of conviction. I don't see a vision from him that he can then have the fire in the gut to sell it. Just pumping money into the economy on a hit and miss bases is NOT what impresses me. A new goal like the Wharf Rat has of putting solar on every house for instance could be a new paradigm for growth. Something, anything that he could sell like the selling that TRoosevelt did. TR had vision and he had passion and he turned those into real benefits for the country. What? We have nothing grand like that left to do? For what its worth, Romney is worse yet though. Arrrrg!
