I'd been posting these photos of John dying here in "secret" as an outlet for myself, in the photojournalistic tradition: none of you knew him, it's just photos, telling a heartfelt story. For me, it was a way to let my emotions out.... I knew my gal would NOT approve. It's "private" stuff. Anyway, I got busted today: forgot my computer at John's place and my gal tried to use it to do something. Discovered my posts here on SI, about John. Disapproved, vehemently. So, I was forced to pull up these images, for John's wife. I did NOT want to do that! I thought it was WAY early for that. Maybe MONTHS from now. But no. Had to happen, TODAY. OK. Pulled them up, full of trepidation. HIT! Loved every one of them. Sigh of relief. Life is good. :-)
