I might be able to mobilize some friends and relative back in Korea to get into this SKM action. But then, I have to sell it there. It seem the only gain is that I avoid the collapse of premium in case the Korean stock market opens. Incidentally, from what I read (both Korean newspapers and American ones) there is no mention of opening of the stock market. Does "opening to foreign investment" automatically indicate opening of the stock market? There is some talk on that such as allowing foreign companies to buy out troubled Korean companies. I am not sure what it means to the stock market though.

Korean market allows 8% swing per day. In a way, it is hard to get sense for true price because it could be just stuck at the trading limit waiting to go lower the next day.

For those who have been following this for a long time, is there always a correlation on what happens in Korea with what happens here? Is there any time when the stock tanks in Korea but rises in the US? Did Korean stock ever follow their ADR in the US?
