George,
The only way I can make those Brocade numbers come close is if the 15,000 figure was for ports, not switches. If their Q3 revenue (I'm assuming it was Q3) was $6.5 million, Q1 revenue was $200,000, and Q2 was somewhere between the two, they are going to have a stellar Q4. Here is the way my numbers look:
12,000/16 ports = 750 switches * $30K per switch = $22.5 Million. 15,000/16 ports = 937 switches * $30K per switch = $28.1 Million.
Guessing that Q2 was about $3 Million, (purely a guess), that would mean that Q4 should be somewhere between $12.8 and $18.4 Million. WOW! Ancor, take notice. This is the way a company should be run. Congratulations to Brenda C., and company. If they are actually selling that much equipment, they deserve the accolades.
If those numbers are even close to being accurate, the Fibre Channel market is really expanding that quickly, and if Ancor's MKII switch has been as well received as we have been led to believe, Ancor should be able to capitalize on this golden opportunity.
I know a quick way to double Ancor's stock price, practically overnight. Hire Brenda Christensen. <g> Those numbers still amaze me.
