Don't leave Samsung out of the equation. They too are readying a W8 phone or ten. Just an opinion, I don't think Samsungs heart is in it. They'll likely be mostly cannibalizing their Android sales... not hitting their real rival, Apple. For NOK W8 is "turn off the life support system" if it's a fail. That focuses the mind... or maybe messes up the mind. One thing, if they haven't managed to port PureView, and need say 3 months, they can't announce it or people would wait. And they can't afford people waiting.
