Windows Phone 8 is approaching so quickly, our heads are starting to spin. Sammobile has learned from a tipster about more details of the leaked Samsung Odyssey and Marco. According to their intel, Samsung has plans for just two Windows Phones this year for he mid-range and high-end markets. The Odyssey will sport a 4.8" HD Super AMOLED screen, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.9-megapixel front camera, 16 or 32 GB variants, MicroSD support, and a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor (Krait). Most of these align with the earlier leak, except for the screen which was previously said to be 4.65". Now that it's 4.8" in size, it's easy to assume this is the same heralded 720p HD screen found in the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Then there's the Marco, the mid-range WP8 device which will feature a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.9-megapixel front camera, 8 GB of storage, MicroSD support, and a matching dual-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon. Finally, Sammobile concludes their report by saying the Odyssey will cost somewhere between 500 and 600 euro, while the Marco will cost between 350 and 450 euro. It sounds legit to us and Sammobile is pretty reliable with their sources, so how do you feel?
