When i see what RE prices currently are in parts of NYC and Boston in this 'depression, I think these people have to be nuts to be paying that kind of price.
Boston suburbs are still 1/3x price of SV, probably 0.8x of LA and SD, though around 2x price of Chicago suburbs. Not cheap, but not insanely priced IMO.

Can't say anything about NYC.
