Maybe the reason that the country music fans shunned her wasn't because she was gay, but because she blatantly used Brad Paisley to hide who she was.

Maybe she was shunned because being an LGBT activist was more important to her than being a country music star.

Maybe she was shunned because country music fans simply didn't like her music.
