Perhaps the markets are not as devious as some may think. The whole point of taking out the 1422 high may have been to show that 1450 is the next goal, even if it has to be approached in a gradual, drunken way. We will know in a few days what the plan was. I suppose the glass-full/glass-empty analogy works if everyone is a heavy drinker. Some of us just sip a little and move on, refilling as we go. Nevertheless, we still stumble around drunkenly from time to time. It could be an act. :)
