Kaiser says buy as act of faith in Rovig
Brimstone Gold Corp BSC
Shares issued 7728970 1997-11-28 close $0.45
Friday Nov 28 1997
John Kaiser, writing in the November 20, 1997 Kaiser Bottom-Fish Tracker, says Brimstone is a buy at $0.48. Brimstone was on Mr Kaiser's list of 100 recommendations for 1997 in the KBF Report of December 23, 1996. At that time the stock was $0.48. Mr Kaiser says the market has ignored Brimstone during 1997, while David Rovig pushed forward his dream of a high-grade gold mine in Montana. After one of its mines was expropriated by the government for being too close to Yellowstone Park, Brimstone has spent $2 million rehabilitating the old Mayflower mine, which was worked intermittently until 1961. Rovig is so confident mineable grades can be found that bottom fishers "should continue to hold Brimstone as a contrarian gold play," Mr Kaiser suggests. In addition, Mayflower could be a platform for better things down the road, he adds.
