Wow, you really detest and fear law enforcement officers. A possible reason is that you often live your life outside the boundaries of the law, Gersh.

You live in an intolerable situation because drugs are not legal. I live in an intolerable situation because the owners of the central banks systematically rob me at gunpoint through the forced application of taxes though the government. Everyone has their crosses to bear. Taking it out on the police is senseless and not the answer.

In contrast to you, I've never feared the law because I behave accordingly during police encounters and I've never had a problem with them.

Sure, there are laws that I absolutely detest, but in a civilized society, it is the duty of law enforcement officers to enforce those laws until Congress changes those laws. The system is broken and effectively beyond repair, but that's not the fault of the police officers. When they arrive on the scene, they are not interested in your political views or grievances with the law. They are certainly not interested in debating those points. They are there to ensure that order is maintained, and that begins with disarming suspects and neutralizing threats.

The knife-wielding thug that you're expressing sympathy for would be alive today if he had simply dropped the knife, assumed the position as ordered, and stopped resisting arrest. No idiot calls 911 and then threatens the police with a knife when they answer his call.

Good riddance to the another thug. To the police, another job well done! Keep up the good work.
