Joan, your consultant needs to wake up and smell the coffee. Internet bookselling is big business today and will be even bigger - a $10 billion business in 2000. So far BKS, the grandaddy of B&M (bricks & mortor) is having considerable difficulty competing with AMZN. He apparently has his concepts confused.
