But most of all, I am now convinced that you belong to a group of folks who act with your heart instead of your head. You voted with your heart in 2008. Some of us voted with our head and our heart. So we refuse to be moved that easily. We are not flip floppers. Many of us are immigrants also (Hispanics, Asian Americans etc.) We have first hand experience of what perseverance means and what results it can produce. We think as and for a generation not based on election cycle to election cycle. Well said. With regards to Ryan, if his budget was that good then why his Republican colleagues including Romney are running away from his budget proposals and his stand on other political issues. As a matter of fact, now that he is a VP candidate, he is also running away from some elements of his budget by lying (twisting the facts in his budget, not making promises and failing to keep them but deliberately twisting to serve a purpose). His budget was never that great but the GOP was in desperate need of an intellectual wonk amidst its sea of stupidity. Bambi got the job.
