No quibbles at all with that one...

The issue there is the integration of the technical stuff on charts with the fundamentals...

They've got a known ugly quarter coming... that's going to be way uglier than it should be... which will tend to put the results of the Q and realization of the outcome of their next product launch within view in the same window...

I think the combination will make for an remarkably ugly picture...

I think they needed the launch of W8 and next gen devices to all go off without a hitch... in a coordinated enough fashion, with a big enough splash, that it might actually impress someone, and confuse them into thinking that perhaps they'd actually pulled it off... It should look like a parade forming up... at this stage... and should look like an actual parade when it arrives. Instead, it's going to be PLANNED to be something closer to a wake... with small hushed gatherings of family and friends... the sort of thing to which you should plan to bring a baked chicken dish, in an disposable aluminum pan, to make things easier on the family in this time of transition...

Now, it's not looking like the "appearance" aspect of the planned launch is going to live up to even the low end in the expectations that the market observers have... which I think I captured in the above.

And, then, there's the issue of market acceptance... and, if it's true that the carriers are engaged in a conspiracy to prevent MSFT and/or SKYPE et al and etc from succeeding ? What is there in the "new deal" that comes with the W8 launch... that suddenly makes that not matter ?

I do think the guy did the technical analysis right...

And you have to give him credit for avoiding the proper description of the obvious suggestion contained in the words he wrote... but, no where in there did I see the words "dead cats often bounce... if you drop them from high enough... and before they've been dead for too long"...

Laying odds that NOK will actually land on its feet... and slink away ?

Hmmm.
