First of all, he did not joke about killing women and children. He just joked about drones and using it not for the interest of the country but for his personal interest. so this is a right wing distortion. Besides, he was joking where the occasion is to crack jokes. All past Presidents have done so. Now if he uses it on the stump and questions Romney's patriotism or asks for his birth certificate, then it is another matter. At that event, he even fun of Donald Trump. I am sure he is not going to make a gaffe and mention Donald Trump on the stump the same way he did at the dinner. That event is for political jokes. It is not to garner votes as Romney did today. Even Guiliani is upset at Romney for "another gaffe" by Romney as he put it. Guiliani wondered why Romney did not go straight to the economy. From my end, I ask if Romney would have commented that way if Biden or Hillary was his opponent. I sure hope somebody now goes after his Mormonism and then laugh it away as a joke. His son did the same thing in January.
