Richard --

Thanks for the good links. I went back to the ADSL Forum site and was reminded of the Summit coming up this week:

adsl.com

Anyone planning to attend?

Some of the links are outdated --- Dan Kegel's and Todd Ogasawara's, for example. Someone should have checked them out before including them on the list.

One of the best ways to keep up with ADSL is to visit specific company sites: Alcatel, Motorola, and Siemens all do a pretty good job of upgrading their information.

So does TI. Not as many ADSL references, but they're increasing now that Amati's being bought out.

18. How will TI treat the royalty income from the Amati license agreements? How large do you expect this to be? Royalties from Amati licenses will be counted as royalty revenues. The amount of the royalty revenues will be a function of the ADSL modems manufactured in the industry, but we do not have a forecast to make public at this time. As indicated in the news release, we believe the semiconductor market will reach more than $6 billion for ADSL applications over the next decade. <<<<

That's just the semiconductor market for ADSL.

I don't know about anyone else, but this certainly validates all I've felt about the technology for the past two years. Rather sad Amati can't carry the ball across the finish line.
