MUST READ..Shows how many paid idiots exist in the media world in bed with CRAPple spreading FUD.... #1 - This is specific to Samsung as far as the old phones that the jury found copied the iPhone. Even Apple themselves used Sony's ANDROID phones to show a unit that didn't copied theirs. #2 - The judge will have to reconcile with their iPhone verdicts, the fact that the jury DID NOT find Samsung's Galaxy Tab copied the iPad design patents. Yet it has been the Galaxy Tab that Apple worldwide has been trying to ban for copying the rectangular with rounded corners design of the iPad. Remember when a judge held the two up and they could NOT tell the difference? Well this jury COULD tell the difference. So the fact that the jury striked the iPad design patents down is a BIG ONE. #3 - So either is the fact that the Galaxy Tab does NOT have any physical buttons like the iPad that make it unique, or something else. The judge will have to clarify what is it that makes the Galaxy Tab unique. #4 - If it is the lack of physical button, then guess what? APPLE IS SCREWED cause this will force every manufacturer to both move to Android 4.0 and above and put the buttons on the screen like the Galaxy Nexus. #5 - All the software patents found to valid by the U.S. patent office (a joke of an organization) can be worked around. In fact the bounce back software patent, has already been worked around since last year with Android 4.0. So if anything this will help by moving everyone to Android 4.0 and above that much faster. #6 - This leaves an open question internationally. Mind you NOT about the iPad as Apple has suffered an irreversible damage with the iPad design patents now being found both in a U.S. court of law as well as in an international court of law, NOT ENFORCEABLE. But the open question is regard to the iPhone. Because internationally Samsung was found to NOT violate the iPhone design patents (ALL iPhone design patents), and domestically only was found to violate the iPhone 3GS design patents (NOT the iPhone 4 or 4S). In the end, nothing will change. Sony will not change their Android phones, HTC will not change their Android phones, Motorola will not change their Android phones, and Samsung will remove some old end of life products and move some new ones into their place. In the end nothing changes. Android will continue having 70% of the market and if anything this helps with fragmentation as it moves everyone to Android 4.0 and above that much faster. So enjoy your Apple media FUD while you still can.... LMFAO... too funny...
