" Any hint that WP8 is a dud, and Nokia will end up back where it was."

Still the optimist... first for ignoring all the "hints" there are, while insisting the only hint that matters is the one in unavoidable proofs, after the fact... and then, for thinking a final loss of hope will land NOK right back where it was when there was still all the hope alive that you see reflected in the share price now...

I don't think NOK will turn around... without actually MAKING a turn...

Elop clearly isn't looking like the wunderkind to make it happen...

If, by some miracle, W8 proves to be the miracle cure for all that's wrong at NOK that W7 just wasn't ? Well, then NOK will be stuck with him.

Now, NOK appears stuck in gear... with those who are responsible still excusing themselves and being thankful that it is Elop's fault, and that Elop will take the blame... instead of them... while things grind along toward the inevitable...

That's a convenient dodge, for now...

It won't survive a W8 launch failure...

And, then, someone else (worthy) is going to have to be willing to put their head on the chopping block... ?

That's been pretty much my entering argument here...

I'm waiting to see what does shake out the other end of the recognition events that are coming... while not expecting "not a change" to work the miracles that you are expecting to see from "a change" that still hasn't occurred...

Elop really isn't the SOURCE of the problems, of course...

The problems predated Elop, and, clearly, what we see now seems it shows that those who thought previously failed to solve the problems, who thought that Elop was going to be a solution... are the source of the problem.

So, I'm looking for change I can believe in... not change for change sake...
