Maybe some others can help here but I think I see some problems with your problems. You can put emoticons in text messages. I know some of the auto-reply stuff that you are talking about is coming in iOS 6 which you will have in a month (maybe not with a jail broken phone?) I think you can at T9 if you want. Toggling between bluetooth and wifi. Why? I leave bluetooth on and it activates when I need it. I have wireless at home and work so I leave that on. I don't worry about battery life like you might have to on an Android. I only turn wifi off when I travel. No big deal. Others want to add something?
