Still the pessimist I see... actually making the WP8 successful (and successful to me is 20% of the market) is as easy as making the WP8 first experience more presentable to the user who walks in to a phone store looking for a smartphone. Full color icons/tile with text and a gorgeous background full color image, default from the factory, will go a long way in that. But if Microsoft insists in this monochromatic lifeless start screen, same as it was the past 2 years, I think the result will also be the same. I hope I'm wrong but that's the way I see it.
