Another irony is that liberals seldom use welfare. None of my friends are on it. The whole reason we support it is to make sure the poor and needy are taken care of.

Because liberals really do think they are their brothers keeper.

And I would bet most of the poor and needy are actually conservatives. Which is another irony.
