i am feeling better and better about Phils for 2013. They have been 16-10 in their last 26 games including 4 straight in last 4 games against Reds and Nats. The biggest change---the bullpen.(The Bullpen has given up 0 runs in last 11 and 1/3 ininings) Lindblom got last 5 outs today, and with conviction--an got his first MLB save(Pabelbon had pitched 3 days in row and was unavailable) Now to get at those Mets, we have a lot of hurt we received from Mets. We are +10 above from since our Nadir of -16 below .500--if we end up 81-81 it means we were 16 games above 500 since return and Utley and Howard. This despite loss of Victorino/Pence/Blanton and Ruiz). Kratz has to get to be #1 Back-Up catcher next year).Max The Red Sox dumping 270 million in contracts means they will rule the Free Agency. i number one priority is to sign Michael Bourne(he who we traded to get Lidge), he is easily are number one need--to take over CF and bring also lightning speed to the team. The Braves will WANT!!! to sign Bourne, but he has maintained his free agent satus. Are 2nd biggest need is 3rd base.(Polanco body is shot--bad back. They have obviously decided Wiggington just plain is poor fielder at 3rd--it seems he lets in as many runs as he produces.) And bullpen #3 need. Michael Bourne would be terrific add. Other big factor: Utley must keep Phils ADVISED to his status during off-season. Kendrick REMEMBERS what he has finally learned, to stop being slow tempo pitcher and use the cutter only as a set up pitch.--he is now taking 1/2 the time to get off his pitches) That Glavis returns HEALTHY--and will back up 3rd(he has never played 3rd, but his arm is a rocket/SS and 2nd base.)
