Feeling pretty good about next year too. The pitching has been really solid lately, both starting and the pen. I never thought we would have a chance to sweep the Nats but held them to 5 runs in 3 games. Are the Phillies looking to acquire Bourne? I'd love to see him in CF too. Polanco is definitely not going to be the guy we need at third. I know Frandsen isn't a power hitter, but he is a good hitter and can play third base. I guess you see Galvis as a better fit since he is extremely talented defensively. I also like Kratz. He isn't very many steps down from Ruiz. And Utley....I don't understand why his knee(s) deteriorates in the off season and he can play the last 2/3 of the season after resting/rehabbing it in the first third. I thought the off season would be the time it gets its rest. I know one thing. The Phils are a better team with him in the lineup. Let's hope Kendrick doesn't get Alzheimer's and forget how to pitch again. He has been impressive as hell lately. I really look forward to his turn in the rotation instead of cringing at the thought of his appearances on the mound. We're turning a corner, Max and I'm liking what I see!
