CAMPBELL TECHNOLOGIES INC. ANNOUNCES
$10 MILLION SOFTWARE SALES AGREEMENT

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE- November 27, 1997 - Vancouver, BC - Campbell Technologies Inc. (OTCBB symbol: CBTK) is pleased to announce an agreement with Columbia Diversified Software Fund Limited Partnership, whereby Columbia will acquire ownership of the Retriever! software product from Campbell's wholly owned subsidiary Imaginet for a total acquisition price of $10 million. Imaginet will retain the worldwide exclusive rights to develop, market, distribute and resell these products.

Imaginet will now be able to substantially increase its already aggressive marketing and sales of Retriever! software into IBM's software distribution channels as well as previously identified software distribution channels. The anticipated resulting increase in revenue from this agreement will give the company increased market access to a broader set of distribution channels and have a direct impact on the company's revenue and bottom line.

Under this agreement, Campbell will receive $3 million in cash from Columbia over the next ten months, less closing expenses, and Campbell will carry a vendor take-back promissory note in the amount of $7 million bearing interest at the rate of 4% per year. This vendor take-back financing will be repaid out of a percentage of the net sales of the Retriever! software products. After full payment of the acquisition price Campbell will be entitled to 90% of net sales and Columbia will receive 10% of net sales of these products.

Mr. Larry Whitehead, President and CEO of Columbia will join the Board of Directors of Campbell and its subsidiary, Imaginet in conjunction with this agreement.

Campbell Technologies Inc. specializes in the acquisition, funding and management of emerging Information Technology-based companies.

Columbia Diversified Software Fund Limited Partnership is a duly registered limited partnership formed under the laws of the Province of British Columbia for the purposes of acquiring and generating revenue from the sale of computer applications software.
