I'll watch the convention and the nominating speeches and the acceptance speeches. I'm waiting for someone to show the real Romney and how he makes decisions. He seems like a salesman who has a line he sells and he has a gung ho up-talking attitude no matter what's going on. He has a game plan to become President of the United States, and of all things, on the morning talk shows I just watched, he's going to remake himself. I guess that means soften the edges. He's going to get torn apart if it looks like that.

The weather was not so bad in Tampa, and they could have had a Cancellation Watch, and today called that off. I wouldn't be surprised to learn in a few years, that they hadn't yet settled on the makeover message.

There are salespeople who can sell anything to anyone, but that does not mean it's what the customer wants or needs.

There are investment advisers who are always bearish, and others who are always bullish. That shows nothing about their ability or appropriateness to be an investment adviser for an investor today. In investing, that's naive and means the adviser is untested. Or worse, inflexible.

It's unbelievably narrow to think that Romney's experience at Bain Capital is what he points to (and his supporters applaud) and his handlers point to as qualifying him to be President.

He barely mentions Massachusetts. Is that 'cause it was so long ago? Or because he changed what he believes since then?

So far, he is unqualified to be President. He's qualified to run, but unqualified to be President of the United States. IMO. Based on what he has said.
