a two-bedroom, 700-square-foot apartment built in the last 25 years close to the Central business district, expect no change from $1 million
Only 30 times more expensive than the same square footage condo in the area I am familiar with, in North Central Florida. Such an apartment in my area will rent for $600/month. Utilities such as water/electric/telephone/internet will add $100/month. This is easily affordable for a couple, both working minimum wage jobs, earning $2,700/month. World class university and medical facilities are near by. Beaches within 1.5 hours drive. Numerous state parks within walking or biking distance.
