I frankly don't think that they have the proof for a lot of prosecutions; remember any State AG could prosecute as well. They're not called banks for nothin'; it's probably next to impossible to get info out. Which IS something that needs to be changed, we need complete transparency.


I have always believed that the primary reason they never went after people who worked in the banks is because so many people were complicit...........loan officers, appraisers. loan committees etc. All along the food chain people were doing their part to get unqualified people approved. Where would the indictments stop........would we have to draw an imaginary line through each bank? It would have been too messy and the whole banking industry would grind to a halt.
