If you could go back into the graveyard posts at AOL from about 1 to 2 years ago, you would read the same sort of comments that you have been making since starting this thread, defending CB and the company. I have not seen one of the many, many defenders speaking in favor of CB in quite a while. It is true that she is clever, just witness how much she and her family walked away with when she sold at $24 when she knew the defamatory Barron's article was coming out. So now she is showing her true colors by investing several hundred thousand? There are those who think this is a cheap way of dealing with the lawsuits and SEC investigations by "showing the financial world" how commited she is. In other words, just playing it out because she has already walked away with her massive profit.
It is true that she is a tough and tenacious person, but her actions in the past only prove her unwillingness to let go of control and put it in the hands of people whose interest was marketing and shareholders. She thwarted these efforts time and time again. Who knows why she is moving to NY? Who knows why she was going to move to Miami and then dumped those plans? Who knows anything about CB's motives about anything? Only CB knows these answers. The only thing that appears to be true to almost all that have been involved with this stock is that CB cares for herself and the aggrandizement of her ego with no regard for the consequences her actions hail down upon the stockholders of her company.
Perhaps she will redeem herself one day but this company will go nowhere for many moons because she has engendered such bad faith on the street that no one, not even the likes of Cruttenam-Roth, her long time supporter wants anything to do with her or her stock. She just told too many stories that weren't true and the only thing that resulted was a bunch of Reg S people and her got rich. The rest of the suckers got taken. Fortunately, i only lost a very little because I bailed early. But I personally know at least a half dozen people who lost big money on this one, including 3 who lost 6 figure money. Some CEO's care but CB has never shown any remorse. To the contrary, she has only shown contempt and disregard. A very smart, ruthless, heartless woman is what appears when one looks long enough.
Even her Chicago based publicists are complicit. Beverly and her company have blinded themselves to the realities of this company because they have continually been paid to puppet the party line. There are many publicists who would forego their fees when confronted with the continual failure of a company they represent to keep its word. There is a word for those who sell themselves out for money and this cesspool os full of them.
