Tobin Smith stated in a recent rpt that their IceStorm Operating System is undercutting competitors as much as 90%...

Earlier in the year the ceo had this to say: “More often than ever, we’re seeing government customers such as Frederick County Maryland opt for the performance, features and reliability they absolutely require, without adding unnecessary complexity to an already complex virtual and cloud data center,” said Mr. Dale Foster, President of Promark Technologies, IceWEB’s Distribution partner for this procurement. “IceWEB’s longstanding, solid reputation for quality in highly-sensitive public sector data centers combined with the company’s incredibly robust unified storage offerings at a competitive price make it difficult for smart government CIOs to choose anything else.”

“Coming straight off the heels of a steady stream of sizeable orders from mid-to-large commercial and public sector customers, today’s announcement is the next note in IceWEB’s symphony playing to a market segment long left unserved by the cast of characters comprised of big, expensive storage vendors,” said Steven Toole, Chief Marketing Officer at IceWEB. “County government organizations must have zero tolerance for failure in their data centers, particularly when citizens’ lives can literally be on the line as County communications systems depend on 100% uptime for first responders such as police, fire and rescue. Choosing IceWEB for high availability and cloud recovery clearly indicates simply nothing but the highest expectation for quality and performance in IceWEB’s unified storage systems and IceSTORM operating system.”
