I suspect that may prove to be the more profitable avenue to take with this investment. ........about 5-15 percent of my limited protfolio is traded--usually voltile things like biotech or telebras where you can get killed if you stay in after a rally and bad news comes out--not day trading just cold feet when i see the edge of a cliff coming. .......i am a long term investor in checkfree, cisco, compaq, misc internet stocks and oil services---- with no reason to sell. .......i am especially perplexed by many readers worries about checkfree--hell i bought 100 shares for grandma--just to show her it is better than a money market account. ......i think that there are very few stocks with this kind of growth AND safety built in--you've got a near monopoly in an exploding sector (internet) with PC prices dropping to the point that a mom and pop computer with a printer, modem, monitor, and software is $1,000--and dropping fast. ......to this add the fact that internet TV device sales just doubled and the new cable modems will make the internet as clear and fast as your TV--for a platry $100-$200. and bill gates is pushings this to happen faster! wow! .......when mom and pop realize that they can pay bills with the push of a button--see their bank balance--and see their IRA in seconds--electronic bill pay and banking will explode. .......yes, i am content to sit back and watch this baby. ......i bought in at 17-18 and have about 700 shares------- just feel bad that i did not buy more. .....at what price do you think you would buy more? what is your time/price horizon? ......thanks for your encouraging and learned words
