The GOP is grappling with their own dislike of Romney. It's a tragicomedy. Everyone is conflicted these days. They want Romney to be a straight-laced conservative on every issue, but his record shows he's been more of a moderate and even somewhat liberal on some issues like health care. So they are forcing him to the right and are not happy with the results. I wish the GOP would just recognize that the majority of Americans are NOT far right and not far left for that matter. Most of us are hovering somewhere around the middle. So we like moderates and we want pragmatic, moderates to be elected. At least, I do.
