this thread freely goes off topic, as you probably have already noticed, especially on weekends.
We cover politics, neo politics, or is it geo politics, down under politics, biotech discoveries, baseball, football, ping pong or whatever. Boring as some of the other subjects are, trying to dream up something to selectively restrain free speech tops them all. It is best left to the creative minds of Hollywood. May be they can make a movie like how Larry Flint defended his porno empire.
I was on Compuserve forums, about 2 yrs ago. One day I found my response to an "offensive" post missing so I emailed the webmaster. His answer was the webmaster had complete power to delete whatever he didn't like, and all subsequent responses to what he considered an offensive post. I dropped Compuserve the next day.
Based on the posts that you linked, Duane, they were really tame. If you are going to be so overly sensitive and be offended by that juvenile level of "abuse", I suspect you may not like it here sometimes. Just a suggestion, don't ask for help from Tom. We usually just give him the Brush off anyway. Mike Doyle is a surfer wannabe with water log brains, still trying to understand RF by playing with 2 sticks in the bathtub. qdog is just sniffing around here, looking for the perfect biscuit, or is it the perfect fire hydrant. You will certainly receive no sympathy from Caxton. Just go read the offensive stuff he posts on the ERICY thread.
